I'm Dr. Titilope Omisakin, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and the founder of Northmark Psychiatry. I see adolescents and adults ages 14 and older by secure telehealth, anywhere in Minnesota.
I graduated from Creighton University with Honors and bring five years of experience in the mental health field, including three years practicing as a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
Good psychiatric care starts with a thorough understanding of the whole person, the symptoms, the history, what has already been tried, and the daily functioning that matters most to you. From there, treatment is built together rather than handed down.
My approach is warm and direct. I explain things plainly, set realistic goals, and revisit them with you as we go. You should always leave a visit knowing what we decided and why.

Collaborative. Treatment decisions are made together, with your preferences part of every conversation. With your authorization, care can be coordinated with your therapist, primary care clinician, and other members of your treatment team.
Evidence-informed. Options are reviewed with attention to benefits, risks, side effects, and alternatives, and progress is monitored over time rather than assumed.
Education-forward. Visits may include motivational interviewing, interpersonal and psychodynamic perspectives, practical strategies, and patient education, so you understand your own care.
