Psychiatric Care Designed Around Real Life.

SERVICES

Northmark Psychiatry combines thorough assessment, evidence-informed treatment, clear education, and shared decision-making.

SERVICE · 01

The first visit is a careful review of symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, current medications, prior treatment response, safety, functioning, and goals.

That full picture, what is happening now, what has been tried before, what may be contributing, and what you hope will improve, is what guides an individualized plan.

Recommendations are discussed openly. An evaluation does not guarantee that a medication will be prescribed.

Initial psychiatric evaluation

SERVICE · 02

When clinically appropriate, medication options are reviewed with careful consideration of their benefits, risks, potential side effects, alternatives, and your preferences.

Nothing is decided without you unless immediate safety concerns require urgent action. The reasoning is explained in plain language, and treatment decisions are made together whenever possible.

Follow-up and treatment monitoring

Follow-up visits assess symptom change, daily functioning, adherence, side effects, and any concerns that have come up since the last appointment.

Each visit ends with a clear answer to one question: should the plan continue as it is, or should it change?

SERVICE · 04

Therapeutic support and education

Visits may include motivational interviewing, interpersonal and psychodynamic perspectives, practical strategies, and patient education.

The goal is understanding as much as relief, knowing what you're working with makes treatment easier to sustain.

SERVICE · 06

Collaborative care

With patient authorization, care can be coordinated with therapists, primary care clinicians, and other members of the treatment team.

Shared information means fewer gaps, fewer repeated conversations, and a treatment plan that holds together.
